Starling Publishing LLC is an independent publisher of coloring books, early-learning workbooks, illustrated nonfiction and design collections. We have 27 titles in print today, with more on the way.
What we make
Our books ask something of the reader: a crayon, a pencil, a tracing finger or a curious question. Toddlers learn their letters with friendly animals, older kids color princesses, dragons and sea turtles, and grown-ups find calm in mandalas, flowers and henna patterns.
Many of our titles are Color-Along Editions: each illustration is printed in full color beside a black-and-white version to color, so readers can see a finished page before they make their own.
How our books are made
Every book is published under our own ISBN imprint (978-1-960406) and printed on demand through Amazon KDP. Nothing sits in a warehouse: each copy is printed when it is ordered and shipped by Amazon, in paperback and, for many titles, hardcover.
What comes next
Our books now reach beyond the page. Our new activity book carries a Scan & Play code on every activity page that opens the same page on our website, ready to color, play and check. Hundreds of pages from our coloring books are also free to print or color online.
